1st day of Chol ha Moed
Pray with a group of Chassidm at the Kotel hama’aravi ,
the western wall of the the Temple.
It’s Spring. A time of renewal and optimism.
It’s good to be with my people.
Passover is redemption.
A strong sense and surety of redemption
pervades here in Israel .

Recentlly discovered the art work of Brigitte Carnochan.
Filled with compulsion to photograph flowers.
Need unfulfilled till Erev shabbat.
On way home spot flower vendor and purchase 10 shekel bunch of Ranunculi.
Gracefully he allows me to swop all the bright flowers for paler stems.
Shoot till moments before Shabbat,
Leaving camera on table and run off to shull
